Hello everyone, no this isnt Gl@D0S from Portal that is updating this journal entry, its yours truely; Drew. Well I havent updated this journal in awhile so I thought its about high time I did some updating and bring everyone up to speed about whats been going on, and yes Im still alive. Heh heh, I still never beaten Portal though.


Still looking for jobs

Well remember in my previous entry how I wanted to get a job and start working?

Unfortuneatly due to this crappy economy, jobs are super-scarce and due to me being half-blind, I cant exactly travel long distances and on top of that, its scary at night >_O().

I linked up with my job coach and we went around a few places filling out applications and sending them in to a few places here and there, at first I though Subway would be my best bet but....sadly my mom decided to talk me out of doing Subway due to the fact not only I have to clean up alot of bladed tools and slicers, the thought of losing a limb or two diddnt sound appeasing to me, that and I might also have to clean the dirty restrooms too! I mean WTF!? I diddnt wanna be a janitor, YUCK! So that was a complete turn-off, not to mention I felt upset that my dreams of getting employed were semi-shattered X_X() Urgh....

So I have one last option due the approaching holiday seasons: CostCO! So wish me luck everyone, though when I do get employed, my art will grind to a near halt...but Im desperte for money ya know? Same goes with half a trillion people worldwide....err correction: Half a trillion plus the amount of babies currently being born in the world today that need an additional financial boost.

THe Birthday Comic

For those who have been keeping tabs on my art (which I thank you) Ive been super-hard at work at my comic Im drawing for my best friend: who had a birthday last October and I felt that he deserves a big present since he turned 25..so I hope everyone likes it, but I will upload something diffrent sooner or later, but is everyone sick and tired of looking at the comic? No? Good!

Yeah ever since I started that comic, Ive been getting such a rush! Its like something I would see on TV in a way, minus the friend cameos and references to videogames and popular culture.

IN closing

The only other news I have minus the comic and my wishful hopes for getting a job for the holidays is that I wish everyone a happy holiday and enjoy thanksgiving but not get so tanked up on turkey and the tryptophan thats in it you'll all end up being in a coma!
